Children's groups are for any children aged 3-11. We start off in the church service and after the first hymn and the children's slot we go to our own activities. These include singing and sharing news in the church lounge, and then separating into age groups to do their own activities.
Activities usually include arts and crafts, a story, and learning more about Jesus Christ. On the first Sunday of the month there is a family service so we are in church for the whole service. When there is a Communion service (usually the fourth Sunday of the month) groups will go out during the first hymn and will rejoin their parents in time for Communion.
The crèche is available during the 10:30 service for any parents or carers who want to take their young child out of the service.
Sound from the service is relayed into the crèche and there are comfortable chairs, toys and access to changing facilities. Please feel free to make use of this room at any time after the start of the service. If your child is happy to be left, volunteers are available to care for them while you return to the service.
